Xcorps Action Sports Music TV 9. SUPERBIKE – FULL SHOW Free – This Xcorps episode charges hard as usual featuring high speed track cycles racing at the California Speedway, Big air B.A.S.E. drops down in Mexico with XC madman Ray Murphy and sand dune machine madness in Glamis California.
The show opens from the California Speedway now called the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana where Jason Lazo reports on a motorsports race event called the Yamaha Super Bike Challenge.
Here on the Xcorps see 200 mph head to head motorcycle runs around the 2 mile long D shaped oval Superspeedway track which has hosted NASCAR since 1997. The X CAMS travel with Jason as he roams the pits talking to riders including Team Hooters Vincent Haskovik and Team Bruce rider Marty Craggill about the Zen of pushing the 200 MPH mark on a motor bike.
Great action here with the bikes whining around the hot sun track at hurricane speeds!

In the next special show segment Xcorps Films get eXtreme by presenting Part 2 in the B.A.S.E. series with segment host and veteran jumper Ray Murphy returning to Xcorps TV reporting this time from Copper Canyon Mexico where he free jumps the 3000 foot cliffs of this remote and exotic Action Sports Adventure location!
For those Action Sports followers who might have lapsed on the acronym abbreviated meaning – BASE stands for parachutists and crazy people who jump off Buildings Antennas Spans and Earth!
Ray Murphy has jumped from locations represented by all the letters in the BASE word but in this particular XCORPS video it’s all about the E for Earth in the form of Ray jumping off sheer red rock El Gigante canyon cliffs!
Copper Canyon Mexico is the Grand Canyon of Mexico and actually covers a larger geographical area and is deeper in some areas than the American equivalent.
Ray Murphy and his X crew were some of the first BASE jumpers to jump off El Gigante!
Check out the adrenaline filled ACTION here in this Special Xcorps Presentation with Action Sports junky Ray Murphy who at the time of filming was only the 5th person on earth to jump El Gigante!
How do you write the book on BASE jumping into 3000 foot deep canyons!?
One of the key production moves that made this particular BASE jump adventure possible was the use of a Bell Jet Ranger Helicopter to get the BASE jumpers up to the top of El Gigante! Without this handy flying machine hired to ferry the jumpers from the bottom to the top of this desolate mountain this film would not have happened!
Multiple pre Go Pro cameras were used to get the shots with wild POV angles here to help capture the feel of a 20 second free fall down a rock face at over 100 mph!
Wind conditions on top of El Gigante made jumping off the cliff too RISKY so the jumpers went up in the Chopper to jump out of it instead! You do what you have to do for adrenalized thrills in the XC!
Included here on Xcorps TV is a scene that though terrifying looking – BASE jumpers hanging from the helicopter skids and letting go high over their campsite – this was actually much SAFER than jumping from the cliffs which demands extreme concentration to find the limited landing zone.
See what Ray says scared him the most about jumping off the cliffs into this canyon!
The next XC Music segment has Jason Lazo rolling into Burbank California to talk to the band powering the tunes in this show – The Prom Kings.

Towards the end of the show Jason Lazo and co host Roslyn Bradle then introduce a new segment addition to the XC show format from producer Jason Rapp and a look at the mad sand machines rolling the GLAMIS sand dunes east of San Diego Ca.
The glamis dunes area is a HUGE 30 mile long sandbox and a Mecca for Action Sports where Bikes, trikes, carts, ATV’s and custom rods of every imaginable form and shape along with Road Warrior looking drivers show up!
Check out the crazy ACTION here including the reckless CRASH and BURN between a rope towed living room COUCH complete with people on it and an ATV! Don’t try this at home folks!
