XCTV cameras were rolling at the La Poloma Theatre during the remastering premier rerelease of “The Search” a classic 90’s surf film by Sonny Miller featuring Tom Curren.
Also featured in this video is a live musical stage performance featuring the title music track “The Search” from the film performed by Steel Pulse band lead guitarist David Elecciri.
This Xcorps show is hosted by Thomas Desoto who was also a DP on the Tom Curren documentary film release named ‘The Search’ which focused on Curren and his friends on adventurous surf trips to remote surf breaks around the world.

A digitally remastered, iconic Surf Search film premiered February 12-13TH, at the La Paloma Theatre, before becoming available worldwide via Nalu Films.
‘Searching for Tom Curren’ follows the 3x World Surfing Champion riding some of the best, newly discovered waves in the world. Rip Curl and Tom paired up and discovered new waves around the world, while capturing Curren surfing in his prime during the 1990’s.
