Action Sports Music TV 19. DUNES – Full Show Free In this wild adrenaline powered motorsports episode Xcorps hosts Eric Ducharme and Rat Sult roll to the sand vehicle capital of the world southern California’s Glamis Dunes to ride 700 horsepower sand rods and host Jason Lazo hangs with members of the band Collective Soul.
This Xcorps show is a hard charging off road vehicle episode shot on location at the bottom of an ancient sea which is now the amazing Glamis Imperial Sand Dunes!
Segment one in this Xcorps special presentation opens with a shot from space showing the area where an inland lake – Lake Cahuilla – left a vast sand area 5 miles wide and 40 miles long called Glamis Dunes 150 miles east of San Diego where a large federal fee gets you a pass into the biggest sand fun park on the planet where you can bring any off road ride you want to roll with!
Its just another wild adrenalised day for hosts Rat and Eric who roll Rat’s new custom ALS high performance dune rider out of the trailer and onto the sand.
See the Action and Hear the big V8s roar and see the fat scoop paddle tires throwing HUGE sand tails on this big Halloween weekend where thousands of people come to camp the dunes and ride their sand machines – either stock 4X4 or ANY CUSTOM vehicle they can put together that can roll the BIG sand DUNES!
Also in this XC show is new music from the El Music Group band Collective Soul rocking the off road action!
Scenes from the band Collective Soul playing LIVE during their Dosage Tour performance.
Check out the super sand buggies easily pulling second gear wheelies and getting big airborne flights in this awe inspiring sand environment currently managed by the BLM which currently charges $50.00 for a 7 day full access permit!
Hear Rat Sult’s Glamis charge and check the sick POV action with PRE GOPRO car cams rolling the shots putting the sand in your face!
Currently the Kings of the Dunes vehicles are all similar to Rat’s All Star style V-8 rear engine car which are bred from Baja 500/1000 Racers.
These sand sleds have the power and suspension to go AIRBORNE and land safely even after making 3-4 second dune flights!
In the next Xcorps show segment it’s back to the coast where Jason Lazo is hanging at the home of El Music Group founder and former Maverick Records exec Fred Croshal where members of the band Collective Soul – Ed Roland and Joel Kosche – are jamming a cool acoustic version of their new song ‘Satellite’ a cut from their new Youth CD.
Listen here as Ed and Joel from the band Collective Soul play acoustic guitars along with the local suburban LA song birds which adds a custom musical element not on the CD release only here on Xcorps Action Sports Music TV!
After the jam its back to the desert sand and the raw smooth power from the Cadillac North Star V8 motors gulping gas by the tasty high octane gallon as Rat and Eric accelerate up the huge and infamous ‘Oldsmobile Hill’ which is the epicenter X of sand action at Glamis.
Check out the Xcorps offroad insanity as every type of powered sand ride from quads to MX motobikes to street trucks and fully custom crazy vehicles going wide open all the way to the top of the gigantic dunes. At the the bottom looking up vehicles are mere dark specks moving up the dune faces with motor sounds muffled by the distance!
See what the Women of the Sand are like and what they like to ride!
Xcorps host Rat Sult talks to V8 sand rod owner Keith Muir who tells about the rush of rolling the dunes in a 700 HP full suspension sand vehicle!
After that the show rolls back to Jason Lazo on the Coast talking to Collective Soul’s Ed and Joel about their new CD Youth.
Included here only on Xcorps they perform another acoustic tune – ‘Counting the Days’…Sweet!
The show closes out back in the desert sand with motorsports legend Robby Gordon taking his custom truck AIRBORNE and doing a brutal face plant hammer nose dive with it into the sand! Robby survives OK – his truck does not!
Use your belts wrist restraints and flags and go BIG!
